Brooks Griffin knows firsthand the challenges of overcoming adversity. Born into difficult circumstances and carrying a high ACES (Adverse Childhood Experiences) score, Brooks was predicted to fail. Instead, he rose to success, from being admitted to Children’s Mental Health Complex after a failed suicide attempt, to winning a NBA Championship, to leaving corporate world to transition into ministry.

Trauma impacts every aspect of our lives, but recovery requires more than just time; it requires faith, strategy, and community.
Rooted in both Social & Emotional Learning & Trauma-Informed Care, the I.N.S.P.I.R.E.D. framework equips Christian leaders, parents, and students with practical skills to heal and support those affected by trauma. This talk equips individuals with practical skills needed to recover from trauma or help children & families dealing with it.
This 8-session workshop will help build safe, healing communities that respect both faith and mental health.
